Ingredients
Method
- Pat the tilapia fillets dry on both sides with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
- Brush or rub the tilapia fillets on both sides with the olive oil.
- Sprinkle the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the oiled fillets, pressing lightly so the seasoning adheres.
- Place the seasoned tilapia fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them and not overlapping.
- Air fry at 400°F for 8 to 10 minutes, without flipping, until the fish is opaque, the edges are lightly golden, and it flakes easily with a fork in the thickest part.
- Transfer the fillets to plates and top with fresh chopped parsley and lemon juice before serving.
Notes
- Make sure the fillets are dry before seasoning so the edges crisp and the spices stick well.
- Start checking for doneness at 8 minutes, especially if your tilapia fillets are thin, to avoid overcooking.
