Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 2 lb chicken wings split and tips removed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp hot sauce
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter melted

Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
  2. Pat the chicken wings very dry with paper towels.
  3. Place the wings in a large bowl and sprinkle with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  4. Drizzle the olive oil over the wings and toss until evenly coated and glossy.
  5. Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving a little space between each piece.
  6. Air fry the wings at 400°F for 20 minutes, flipping them halfway through cooking.
  7. While the wings cook, combine the honey, hot sauce, and melted butter in a large bowl and whisk until smooth.
  8. When the wings are golden and crispy, transfer them directly from the air fryer basket into the bowl with the hot honey glaze.
  9. Toss the wings in the glaze until evenly coated.
  10. Serve the hot honey air fryer wings immediately while crispy.

Notes

- For extra crispy skin, do not overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if needed.
- If your wings are large, add 3 to 5 minutes of cook time until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
