Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Slice the apples very thin, with or without the skin.
  3. Toss the apple slices in a bowl with cinnamon and sugar (if using) until evenly coated.
  4. Lightly coat the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  5. Arrange apple slices in a single layer in the basket, minimizing overlap.
Cooking
  1. Air fry for 20-25 minutes, flipping the slices halfway through.
  2. They are ready when the edges are dry and slightly curled, feeling mostly crisp.
  3. Let them cool for a few minutes to crisp up further.

Notes

For best results, slice apples thinner than you think. Don't crowd the basket for even cooking. Trust the cooling time for crispness.
