Ingredients
Method
- Preheat the air fryer to 370℉ if your model requires preheating.
- Place the split bagel halves cut side up on a work surface and brush the cut sides evenly with olive oil.
- Sprinkle the garlic powder and dried oregano evenly over the oiled bagel halves.
- Arrange the seasoned bagel halves in a single layer in the air fryer basket or tray, cut side up, with a little space between each piece.
- Air fry the bagel halves for 3 minutes at 370℉, until the cut sides are lightly golden and crisp.
- Carefully remove the basket or tray and transfer the toasted bagel halves to a work surface if needed.
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the cut sides of the toasted bagel halves, going close to the edges.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella evenly over the sauced bagels, then top with Parmesan if using and any additional desired toppings.
- Return the assembled bagel pizzas to the air fryer basket or tray in a single layer.
- Air fry for 4 minutes at 370℉, until the cheese is melted and lightly golden on top.
- Remove the bagel pizzas from the air fryer and let them cool for 1 to 2 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For softer, just melted cheese without browning, air fry the topped bagel pizzas for 3 minutes instead of 4 minutes.
- Keep the bagel halves in a single layer with space between them so the air fryer can crisp the edges evenly.
- You can swap standard bagels for mini bagels without changing the time or temperature as long as you keep them in a single layer.
- Leftover bagel pizzas can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months in an airtight container with parchment between layers.
- To reheat from the refrigerator, air fry at 350℉ for 3 to 4 minutes; from frozen, air fry at 350℉ for 5 to 7 minutes until heated through and crisp.
