Ingredients
Method
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
- Place the chicken cubes in a large bowl and add the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Toss until all pieces are evenly coated.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray.
- Arrange the seasoned chicken cubes in a single layer in the basket, leaving a little space between pieces. Cook in batches if needed.
- Lightly spray the tops of the chicken with olive oil spray.
- Air fry for 8 minutes, then shake the basket or turn the chicken pieces.
- Continue air frying for 2 to 4 minutes, until the chicken is golden brown and the internal temperature of the largest piece reaches 165°F.
- Let the chicken bites rest for 2 minutes, then serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
- Cut the chicken into even 1-inch cubes so they cook at the same rate.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket, or the chicken will steam instead of crisp.
- Use a meat thermometer to confirm the chicken reaches 165°F for safe, juicy bites.
- Serve with ranch, honey mustard, barbecue sauce, or buffalo sauce for easy dipping.
- To keep leftovers crisp, reheat in the air fryer at 375°F for 3 to 4 minutes.
