Preparation
- Dry the cod well by patting the fillets thoroughly with paper towels.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (about 3 to 5 minutes).
- In a small bowl, mix the olive oil and lemon juice. Brush a thin coating over both sides of each fillet.
- In another small bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, kosher salt, and black pepper. Season the fillets on both sides with this mixture.
Cooking
- Lightly oil or line your air fryer basket and arrange the cod in a single layer, avoiding overlapping.
- Air fry for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through. The cod is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F and flakes easily.
Serving
- Transfer the cod to plates carefully and serve immediately with lemon slices.
Notes
For best results, ensure cod is dry and avoid crowding in the air fryer. Optional: Use smoked paprika for a different flavor profile.
