  • 2 eggs eggs Fresh eggs work best for a firmer set.
Seasoning and Greasing

  • to taste Pepper Adds a bit of spice.
  • 1 tablespoon Butter or oil For greasing the air fryer basket.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut a hole in each slice of bread using a cup or round cutter.
  3. Grease the air fryer basket with a little butter or oil.
Cooking
  1. Place the bread in the basket and crack an egg into each hole.
  2. Season the eggs with salt and pepper.
  3. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, checking for preferred yolk doneness.
  4. Remove carefully and serve warm.

Notes

Best served hot for maximum crispness and egg quality. Use leftover bread cutouts for a sweet treat if desired.
