  • 1 loaf loaf of French or Italian bread A crusty type is best.
  • 4 tablespoons butter, softened Soften to room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Mince finely for even distribution.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped Brightens the flavor.
  • to taste none Salt Add according to preference.
  • to taste none Grated Parmesan cheese (optional) For a cheesy crust.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and a pinch of salt. Stir until the mixture is smooth, glossy, and spreadable.
  3. Slice the loaf in half lengthwise and spread the garlic-butter mixture evenly over each cut side.
  4. If desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan lightly and evenly over the buttered surfaces.
Cooking
  1. Place the bread halves in the air fryer basket cut-side up. Cook for 5–7 minutes, watching closely after 4 minutes.
  2. Remove the garlic bread from the air fryer and let it rest for 1–2 minutes before slicing into pieces.

Notes

Soften butter before mixing to avoid large pieces of garlic. Monitor the cooking time closely, as air fryers may vary in temperature and speed.
