Preparation
- Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (190°C).
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread (or coat that side with cooking spray if using).
- Place one slice of bread butter-side down in the air fryer basket.
- Lay the 2 slices of cheese on top of the bread.
- Add the second slice of bread butter-side up.
Cooking
- Air fry for 5–7 minutes until the top is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Carefully lift it out and cut in half. Serve while still crispy.
Notes
Serve immediately for maximum crunch. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. Reheat in the air fryer to restore crispness.
