Preparation
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and place them in a large bowl.
- In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and paprika.
- Add the olive oil to the chicken, tossing until evenly coated. Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the chicken and rub it in well to cover all sides.
- Brush the bottom of the air fryer basket with olive oil to prevent sticking.
- Place the chicken breasts in the basket in a single layer, leaving space between each piece for optimal air circulation.
Cooking
- Air fry the chicken at 380°F for 10 minutes.
- Flip the chicken and cook for another 10 minutes.
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Remove any pieces that are done; return undercooked pieces to the air fryer and continue cooking in 3-minute intervals until fully cooked.
Resting
- Let the chicken rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing or serving.
Notes
For best results, ensure enough space in the basket for even air circulation. For maximum crispiness, coat the air fryer basket and consider marinating the chicken beforehand.
