Preparation
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the halloumi into slices or cubes about 1/3–1/2 inch thick.
- In a bowl, toss the halloumi with olive oil, paprika, black pepper, and garlic powder until coated.
Cooking
- Place the halloumi in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for about 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
- Serve hot as an appetizer or snack immediately from the basket.
Notes
For best results, ensure uniform thickness of halloumi for even cooking and watch closely during the last 2 minutes of cooking to prevent over-browning. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
