Method
- Cut each mozzarella stick in half to make 24 pieces.
- Set up three bowls: flour in the first, beaten eggs in the second, and breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder and oregano in the third.
- Coat each mozzarella piece in flour, dip in egg, then roll in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Dip each piece back into egg and roll again in breadcrumbs for a double coating.
- Place coated sticks on a plate in a single layer and freeze for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the air fryer to 390°F.
- Lightly spray the sticks with cooking spray and place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry for 6 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crisp.
- Serve immediately with marinara sauce for dipping.
