Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 4 slices Soft bread Day-old is preferable for better shape retention.
  • 1/2 cup Nutella Spread thinly to avoid leaks.
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon For the egg wash.
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar To help brown the exterior.
  • 1 tablespoon Butter or cooking spray For air frying.

Method

Preparation
  1. Flatten each slice of soft bread slightly with the palm of your hand or a rolling pin.
  2. Spread a thin layer of Nutella over one side of each slice.
  3. Roll each slice tightly from one short end to the other and press the seam lightly to seal.
Egg Wash
  1. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, cinnamon, and sugar until smooth and slightly frothy.
  2. Dip each roll-up into the egg mixture, coating all sides and letting excess drip back into the bowl.
Air Frying
  1. Arrange the roll-ups in a single layer in the air fryer basket with space between them.
  2. Lightly spray with cooking spray or brush with melted butter.
  3. Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 8–10 minutes, turning halfway through if needed.
  4. They are done when golden brown and slightly crisp, with sealed edges.
Serving
  1. Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar if desired.

Notes

Ensure not to overfill with Nutella to prevent leaks. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
