Preparation
- Flatten each slice of soft bread slightly with the palm of your hand or a rolling pin.
- Spread a thin layer of Nutella over one side of each slice.
- Roll each slice tightly from one short end to the other and press the seam lightly to seal.
Egg Wash
- In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, cinnamon, and sugar until smooth and slightly frothy.
- Dip each roll-up into the egg mixture, coating all sides and letting excess drip back into the bowl.
Air Frying
- Arrange the roll-ups in a single layer in the air fryer basket with space between them.
- Lightly spray with cooking spray or brush with melted butter.
- Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 8–10 minutes, turning halfway through if needed.
- They are done when golden brown and slightly crisp, with sealed edges.
Serving
- Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar if desired.
Notes
Ensure not to overfill with Nutella to prevent leaks. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
