Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups rigatoni or farfalle (bow-tie) (regular, whole wheat, chickpea, or gluten-free) Make sure not to overboil.
  • 1 - 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil Start with 1 tbsp for coating.
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning Enhances the flavor.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder Adds garlicky flavor.
  • ½ tsp salt Adjust to taste.
  • ¼ tsp black pepper Add as desired.
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese For a salty, crispy finish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Boil the pasta to al dente in a large pot of salted water according to package directions.
  2. Drain the pasta well and add it directly to a mixing bowl while it’s still warm.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F.
  4. Toss the warm pasta with olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and grated parmesan until evenly coated.
Cooking
  1. Add the seasoned pasta to the preheated air fryer basket.
  2. Air fry for 10-14 minutes, shaking the basket at the 6-minute mark to avoid hot spots.
Serving
  1. Enjoy the pasta chips immediately for maximum crunch. Optionally, finish with extra parmesan and fresh parsley.

Notes

These pasta chips are best immediately after air frying. If storing, keep in the fridge in a covered container and reheat in the air fryer to regain crispness.
