Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 2 fillets salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional) for spice
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
Garnish and Serving
  • to taste fresh parsley for garnish
  • as needed lemon wedges for serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Dry the salmon well. Pat both fillets dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a small bowl, stir together the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, onion powder, and cayenne (if using).
  3. Rub the mixture evenly over the salmon, coating the top and sides. Drizzle the lemon juice over the fillets.
  4. Set the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and preheat for 3 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Place the salmon skin-side down in the air fryer basket, leaving space around each fillet.
  2. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, until salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
Serving
  1. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
  2. Enjoy with rice, steamed vegetables, or a fresh salad.

Notes

Do not skip drying the salmon to prevent steaming. For added spice, increase cayenne to taste.
