Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 1 lb steak of choice cut into 1 inch bite size pieces
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil or extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 large red bell pepper sliced into strips
  • 1/2 large yellow bell pepper sliced into strips
  • 1/2 large green bell pepper sliced into strips
  • 1/3 cup purple onion sliced into strips
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dry thyme
  • 1 tsp Maggi cube seasoning or bouillon seasoning crushed
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley for garnish

Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400 F for 3 minutes.
  2. Pat the steak dry, then toss it in a bowl with the oil, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, Cajun seasoning, crushed red pepper, dry thyme, Maggi or bouillon seasoning, and black pepper until glossy and evenly coated.
  3. Add the steak to the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook 6 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  4. Transfer steak to a plate. Add the bell peppers and onion to the basket and cook 5 minutes, shaking once, until tender crisp.
  5. Return the steak to the basket, toss with the vegetables, and cook 2 minutes until the edges look browned and the steak is cooked through.
  6. Rest 2 minutes, then garnish with chopped parsley and serve.

Notes

- Keep the steak in a single layer and cook in batches if needed to prevent steaming.
- Cut steak and vegetables to similar sizes for even cooking and better browning.
- Season steak and vegetables separately if you want the peppers to stay bright and less salty.
