Preparation
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the pressed tofu into bite-sized cubes, roughly 1-inch pieces.
- In a medium bowl, add the cornstarch, soy sauce, olive oil, and garlic powder to the cubed tofu.
- Toss gently to coat each cube evenly.
Cooking
- Arrange the coated tofu cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 15–20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Check that the cubes are golden-brown with a dry, crackly surface.
Notes
For best results, press the tofu for at least 20–30 minutes. Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket to ensure crispiness. If needed, adjust cooking time for desired crispness.
