Ingredients
Method
- Rinse the Brussels sprouts under cold water, trim a thin slice from the stem ends, and remove any wilted outer leaves.
- Cut large Brussels sprouts in half so all pieces are similar in size, then pat them dry thoroughly with paper towels.
- In a large bowl whisk together the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until well combined.
- Add the Brussels sprouts to the bowl and toss until every piece is evenly coated with the marinade.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
- Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single, loose layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between pieces for air circulation.
- Air fry for 7 minutes, then pull out the basket and shake it well or stir the sprouts to promote even browning.
- Continue air frying for 5 to 8 more minutes, until the Brussels sprouts are deep golden brown, crisp on the edges, and tender in the center.
- Transfer the hot Brussels sprouts to a serving dish and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.
- Serve immediately while hot and crispy.
Notes
- Drying the Brussels sprouts well before marinating helps them brown and crisp instead of steaming.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in two batches if needed so the sprouts roast evenly.
