  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger Enhances the marinade flavor.
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice Brightens the overall flavor.
For the Cod
  • 4 fillets cod fillets (about 6 oz each) Main protein for the dish.
  • 1 to taste Salt Use sparingly due to soy sauce.
  • 1 to taste Pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • Chopped optional fresh parsley for garnish Adds presentation and flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and lemon juice until smooth.
  3. Place the cod fillets in a baking dish and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Pour the honey marinade over the fillets and ensure each piece is well coated.
  5. Let the cod marinate for 10 minutes if time allows.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the cod is opaque and flakes easily.
  2. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving and spoon some marinade over the top.

Notes

Best served immediately for optimal glaze texture. Can be reheated in the air fryer to maintain glaze quality.
