Ingredients
  

For the Patty Mixture
  • 2 cups broccoli florets Steamed and chopped very finely.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Cheddar or any preferred melting cheese.
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder Add more for a stronger flavor.
  • to taste salt and pepper Season according to preference.
  • as needed olive oil or cooking spray For frying.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Steam the broccoli florets until tender, then chop them very finely. Allow to cool.
  2. In a bowl, combine the chopped broccoli, shredded cheese, breadcrumbs, flour, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until evenly distributed.
Shaping and Cooking
  1. Form the mixture into small, firm patties. Make sure they are compact and not cracking at the edges.
  2. Lightly coat the patties with olive oil or cooking spray and arrange them in the air fryer in a single layer.
  3. Air fry at 375°F (190°C), flipping once, until both sides are golden brown and set.
Serving
  1. Serve warm for the best texture and flavor.

Notes

These patties are best eaten immediately while the cheese is still melty and the outside is crispy. Store leftovers in the refrigerator and reheat in the air fryer for best results. Avoid microwaving.
