Ingredients
Method
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add milk, melted butter, and vanilla bean paste, then stir just until smooth.
- Lightly grease silicone donut molds with cooking spray, including the center posts.
- Spoon batter into molds, filling each cavity 3/4 full.
- Place molds in the air fryer basket and air fry for 8 minutes, until lightly golden and springy.
- Cool donuts in the molds for 2 minutes, then gently remove to a rack or plate.
- In a shallow bowl, mix the coating sugar and cinnamon.
- Brush each warm donut lightly with melted butter, then roll in cinnamon sugar to coat.
Notes
- Fill molds 3/4 full to prevent overflow and keep the donut shape neat.
- For best coating, roll the donuts while still warm; if they cool too much, reheat for 20 seconds in the air fryer, then coat.
- If donuts look pale at 8 minutes, cook 1 to 2 minutes longer at 350°F.
