Preparation
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and eggs until fully incorporated.
- In another bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Gradually fold this dry mix into the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.
Baking
- Place the dish in the air fryer basket and bake for 25-30 minutes. To check for doneness, insert a toothpick into the center; it should come out with moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan to set properly.
Icing
- For the icing, mix together the cocoa powder, melted butter, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spread this icing over the cooled brownies.
- Finish by sprinkling rainbow sprinkles on top of the icing. Let the icing set for 15-20 minutes before slicing into squares.
Notes
For best results, allow brownies to cool completely before cutting. You can also mix in chocolate chips or nuts before baking for extra flavor.
