Preparation
- In a bowl, combine the peeled, diced apples with the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Stir until the apples are evenly coated.
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Spoon about 1-2 tablespoons of the apple mixture into the lower third of each tortilla. Roll each tightly around the filling so the seam is on the bottom.
- Lightly spray the taquitos with cooking spray and arrange them seam-side down in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Cooking
- Air fry at 350°F for 8-10 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
- Dust with powdered sugar if desired and serve warm.
Notes
Store leftover taquitos in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer to maintain crispness.
