Ingredients
Method
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F and lightly spray the basket with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, combine the apple cubes, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and cinnamon, and toss until the apples are evenly coated.
- Spread the coated apples in a single layer in the preheated air fryer basket, leaving a little space between pieces for air circulation.
- Air fry for 10 to 14 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking, until the apples have deep golden edges and are tender but still hold their shape.
- Transfer the apples to a serving bowl, drizzle with a little additional maple syrup if desired, toss gently, and serve warm.
Notes
- For firmer apples with more bite, use Honeycrisp; for softer, sweeter apples, use Gala or similar varieties.
- Cook in a single layer; if needed, cook in batches to keep the apples crispy.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 320°F for 3 to 5 minutes.
