Preparation
- Wash and dry the potatoes really well and slice them into rounds about 1/8 inch thick.
- Add potato slices to a large mixing bowl, pour in Olive oil, then add garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss until every slice is glossy and evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the slices in the basket in one layer with minimal overlap.
Cooking
- Air fry for 8–10 minutes, then flip the slices using tongs and cook another 8–10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Check for doneness; if some slices need it, add 1–2 minutes carefully.
Serving
- Transfer to a serving plate and taste. Sprinkle more salt or finish with dried rosemary or chili powder if desired.
Notes
For best results, keep slices even and avoid overcrowding the basket. Watch closely in the last 2 minutes to avoid overcooking.
