Preparation
  1. Peel the bananas and slice them thinly to about 1/8 inch (3 mm).
  2. In a small bowl, stir together the cinnamon and sugar until evenly blended.
  3. Gently toss the banana slices in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until evenly coated.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lightly coat the air fryer basket with cooking spray or a thin layer of oil.
  3. Arrange the banana slices in a single layer in the basket.
  4. Cook at 350°F (175°C) for 10–15 minutes, flipping halfway through. Check at the 10-minute mark.
  5. Transfer the chips to a wire rack or parchment paper to cool completely for 5–10 minutes.

Notes

Slice evenly for best results; don't skip the cooling step, as they will crisp up as they cool. These chips can be served plain, over yogurt, or as part of a trail mix.
