  • 2 cups Frozen Hashbrowns Feel free to use fresh hashbrowns if rinsed and dried.
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Substitute with dairy-free cheese for vegan option.
  • 1/2 cup Bacon Bits Omit for vegetarian alternative or switch to plant-based bacon bits.
  • 1/4 cup Green Onions Chopped.
Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer, and prepare your basket with enough space for the bites.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the frozen hashbrowns and shredded cheese, tossing until evenly distributed.
  3. Stir in the bacon bits and chopped green onions until spread throughout.
  4. Sprinkle in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper; mix until well combined.
  5. Scoop and compress small portions into firm mounds.
Cooking
  1. Arrange the mounds in the air fryer basket with space between them and cook until edges are crispy and golden.
  2. Let them cool briefly before serving for best texture.

Notes

These bites are great as a party snack, quick side, or part of brunch. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and reheat in the air fryer to regain crispness.
