  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Substitute with dairy-free cheese for vegan option.
  • 1/2 cup Bacon Bits Omit for vegetarian alternative or switch to plant-based bacon bits.
  • 1/4 cup Green Onions Chopped.
Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) while you prepare the hashbrown mixture.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the frozen hashbrowns, shredded cheese, bacon bits, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is well incorporated.
  3. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Scoop heaping tablespoons of the mixture and form them into small patties.
Cooking
  1. Arrange the patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd them. You may need to work in batches.
  2. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through or until they are golden brown and crispy. The edges should look perfectly crisp, and the center should be hot and tender.
  3. Remove the bites from the air fryer and allow them to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy them warm!
