Preparation
- Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (190°C).
- Lay down 1 tortilla and sprinkle half the cheese evenly over it.
- Add chicken (if using) in an even layer.
- Top with the remaining cheese, then cover with the second tortilla.
- Brush melted butter on both sides of the quesadilla.
Cooking
- Place the quesadilla in the air fryer basket and cook for 5 minutes.
- Flip the quesadilla carefully and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
- Slice into wedges and serve hot.
Notes
Serve immediately for maximum crisp. Leftover quesadillas can be reheated in the air fryer for a crispy texture. Best stored covered in the refrigerator and consumed within 1-2 days.
