Ingredients
Method
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
- Pat the chicken wings very dry with paper towels.
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper and stir to form a loose paste.
- Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss until all pieces are evenly coated.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving a little space between each piece.
- Air fry at 400°F for 25 to 30 minutes, shaking the basket or turning the wings halfway through cooking.
- Check that the wings are deep golden brown and cooked through with no pink at the bone, then remove and serve immediately or toss with your favorite sauce.
Notes
- For extra crispy wings, cook closer to 30 minutes, checking at 25 minutes so they do not overbrown.
- You can season the wings up to 24 hours ahead and refrigerate them covered, then air fry just before serving.
- Reheat leftover wings in the air fryer at 375°F for 3 to 5 minutes until hot and crisp.
