Ingredients

Dough Ingredients
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Plain yogurt Provides moisture and tenderness
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil Keeps the dough pliable
Garlic Butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Butter Melted
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley (optional) For garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt until evenly distributed.
  2. Add the plain yogurt and olive oil to the dry mix. Stir until a soft dough forms.
  3. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead briefly until smooth, about 1–2 minutes.
  4. Divide the dough into portions (4–6) and roll each piece into a flat round about 1/8–1/4 inch thick.
  5. Melt the butter and stir in the minced garlic. Brush the tops of each rolled round with the garlic butter.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Arrange the flatbreads buttered side up in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  3. Air fry for 5–6 minutes until the edges are golden and the surface shows light blistering.
  4. Remove carefully, brush with any reserved garlic butter, and garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
  5. Serve warm.

Notes

For best results, don't overcrowd the air fryer basket. Variations include adding herbs to the dough or using olive oil instead of butter for a lighter finish.
