Main Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (Extra virgin if possible)
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika Grandma’s secret spice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder Don’t skip it!
  • ½ tsp onion powder Adds depth of flavor
  • ½ tsp dried thyme Crumble gently between fingers
  • ½ tsp salt Adjust to taste
  • ¼ tsp black pepper Freshly cracked
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley Chopped, for garnish (optional)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Rub the chicken breasts thoroughly with the seasoning mix, ensuring every nook and cranny is covered.
Cooking
  1. Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they don’t overlap for even cooking.
  2. Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 9 minutes, then flip the chicken and cook for another 8–9 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  3. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Serving
  1. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For best results, use high-quality olive oil, ensure chicken breasts are similar in size, and avoid overcrowding the basket. Letting the chicken rest maintains juiciness.
