Ingredients
  

For the Chicken and Brussels Sprouts
  • 1 pound chicken breast (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 2 cups Brussels sprouts (halved) Trim only as needed to keep halves together.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Used to help brown the chicken and Brussels sprouts.
  • 1 teaspoon salt To taste.
  • 1 teaspoon pepper To taste.
For the Sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey Provides a glossy finish.
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Low sodium is preferred for better control over saltiness.
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (minced) Adds a fresh punch.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional) For garnish.
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional) For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut the chicken into evenly sized bite pieces.
  2. Halve the Brussels sprouts and season both with salt and pepper.
Make the Sauce
  1. In a bowl, stir together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and minced ginger until it forms a thin, glossy sauce.
Air Fry Brussels Sprouts
  1. Toss the halved Brussels sprouts with some of the olive oil and arrange them in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  2. Air fry until the cut sides are deeply browned and the outer leaves are crisp.
Cook the Chicken
  1. Toss the chicken pieces with the remaining olive oil.
  2. Spread them out in the basket and air fry until golden and cooked through.
Combine and Glaze
  1. Transfer the cooked chicken and Brussels sprouts to a skillet.
  2. Pour in the honey-garlic sauce and toss over heat until the sauce thickens and clings to the ingredients.
Serve
  1. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, don’t crowd the air fryer basket. Cook the Brussels sprouts and chicken in batches if necessary.
