Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 3 cups baby potatoes or creamer potatoes, halved Select high-quality potatoes for best texture and flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Helps achieve a crispy golden crust.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika Adds a depth of flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • optional grated parmesan for finishing Use for extra flavor.
  • optional pinch of dried rosemary or thyme

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, add the halved potatoes. Drizzle with olive oil and toss until they are evenly coated.
  2. Mix in the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and parsley. Toss everything together, ensuring that each piece is evenly coated with the seasonings.
Cooking
  1. Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and preheat for better crust.
  2. Place the seasoned potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they’re not overcrowded for optimal air circulation.
  3. Cook for 10 minutes, then shake the basket to ensure even cooking.
  4. Return to the fryer and cook for an additional 8 to 12 minutes, depending on your preferred level of crispiness. The potatoes should be golden brown outside and soft on the inside.
  5. Once done, toss the potatoes again in the bowl. If desired, sprinkle grated parmesan, fresh parsley, or a pinch of smoked paprika for added flavor.

Notes

For best results, don't overcrowd the basket, experiment with seasonings, shake the basket halfway through cooking, and check for doneness by looking for a golden-brown exterior. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
