Preparation
  1. Pat the tuna steaks dry with paper towels to achieve a good sear. Season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped herbs, and lemon juice until well combined.
Cooking
  1. Heat the olive oil in a heavy-bottomed skillet over high heat until shimmering.
  2. Carefully place the seasoned tuna steaks in the hot skillet. Sear them for 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting the time according to desired doneness.
  3. Remove the tuna steaks from the skillet and place them on a plate.
  4. Top each steak with about a tablespoon of the garlic herb butter, allowing it to melt and create a delicious sauce.

Notes
