Ingredients

Dough
  • 1 can 16 oz refrigerated biscuit dough or pizza dough
Filling
  • 24 slices pepperoni
  • 1.5 cups mozzarella cheese, cubed
  • 0.5 cup pizza sauce (plus extra for dipping)
Topping and seasoning
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 0.5 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) while you prepare the ingredients.
  2. Flatten each biscuit into a 3–4 inch circle.
  3. Place 1–2 slices of pepperoni, 1 tsp of pizza sauce, and a mozzarella cube in the center of each dough circle.
  4. Carefully pull the edges of the dough up around the filling and pinch to seal, then roll into a ball.
  5. Place the sealed dough balls seam-side down in your air fryer basket.
Cooking
  1. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and black pepper. Brush this garlic butter mixture generously over the tops of the dough balls.
  2. Air fry for 14–18 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Sprinkle with parmesan and parsley while warm and serve hot with extra pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

For best results, ensure the dough is well-sealed. Feel free to customize your pizza bombs with different toppings!
