Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup apple pie filling If very runny, spoon off some excess syrup.
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter Helps the topping adhere and promotes browning.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Open the can of refrigerated crescent roll dough and separate it into the pre-cut triangles.
  3. Spoon about 1 heaping teaspoon to 1 tablespoon of apple pie filling into the center of each triangle, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Fold each triangle over the filling to form a sealed pocket. Press and pinch the edges firmly.
  5. Brush the tops lightly with melted butter and sprinkle a mixture of cinnamon and sugar over each bomb.
Cooking
  1. Place the bombs in a single layer in the air fryer basket with space between them.
  2. Cook for about 8–10 minutes, checking for a deep golden brown on top.
  3. Let cool slightly (3–5 minutes) before serving.

Notes

To avoid soggy seams, use a modest spoonful of filling. Space bombs apart in the basket for even browning. Reheat leftovers in the air fryer or oven.
